LNR Globalcom Company profile
LNR Globalcom is a full-service organization for land survey instruments, used for capturing surveying and geographical data. Such measurements may vary from surveying existing locations, staking out for expansion plans and the collection of geographical information. Within this framework, LNR Globalcom positions itself primarily in the high-end market segment.
As business partner of Leica Geosystems, LNR Globalcom sells not only surveying equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations and digital levels, but also provides solutions for deformation measurements and the gathering of GIS data. Sales, rental, training and consultancy are all available at LNR Globalcom.
The second core activity of LNR Globalcom is the GPS reference network LNR GlobalNET, through which we provide GPS data. The various GPS reference stations within GlobalNET, which is the highest-density and most accurate GPS network in The Netherlands, provide RTK data 24 hours a day via multi-use GSM and NTRIP (internet, GPRS). In addition, static data is available for post-processing.

Position: Sales Engineer
For the expansion of our sales we seek an enthusiastic Sales Engineer. He/she shall play an important role in the further increase of our market share in the southern region of The Netherlands.
Duties include:
- Sales of Leica GPS / TPS and other Geodetic instruments and software
- Exploitation of our high-density nationwide GPS RTK network, GlobalNET
- Maintenance of current customers and new customer development
- Good technical aptitude with the instruments
Job requirements:
- A relevant MBO / HBO (or equivalent/higher) education;
- A minimum of three year's practical experience in the same field;
- Good communication skills and customer-orientation;
- A results-seeker with an enterprising disposition;
- A team-player who can also function well independently.
- It is also advisable that the candidate resides in the southern area of The Netherlands.
Position: Technical Support Assistant
To further expand our outstanding and expert technical support staff, we seek a young, enthousiastic recent HTS or MTS graduate looking for a rewarding challenge.
This individual will be responsible for the following:
- Assist in providing training to customers on Leica GPS receivers, Total Stations, GIS receivers, etc., as well as the associated software.
- Assist with the management of projects which must be carried out. Be able to ultimately conduct surveys and calculate measurements from GPS survey projects independently.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of a GPS training book and courses.
- Assist with the coordination of the GPS Contact Group.
- Assist with the telephonic technical support provided to our customers.
- Assist with the maintenance of the new software in connection with maintenance contracts.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of the Dutch technical user's manual.
- Assist with the development of a GPS training course for GIS users.
It is desirable that the candidate reside in or near the metropolitan area of The Hague.
