Real-time

Each reference station registers raw data and RINEX data 24 hours a day for postprocessing purposes and DGPS and RTK measurements.

Each reference station is sending real time data to the network server of LNR Globalcom. Authorized customers can log in to FTP server of LNR Globalcom via GPRS or GSM. LNR NET offers various network solutions to the customers.

GPRS/GSM
The advantage of using GPRS/GSM is that it can be used everywhere, including urban areas.

When using GPRS, the user pays a fixed amount for data, varying between 10 euro and 90 euro (unlimited data stream) per month.

When using GSM, the user must reckon with the telephone usage cost (approximately 8 euro cents per minute in The Netherlands; an internal (Grip) subscription, available to large business users, is only 2 euro cent per minute).

The User
Once the user in the field has made contact with the network, he/she can conduct real time measurements with centimetre accuracy.

Reference-stations LNR NET
GlobalNET 2005, which covers the entire Netherlands, consists of 35 stations owned by LNR Globalcom, 4 stations under contract with Germany (SAPOS) and Belgium (FLEPOS), plus two reserve back-up stations....in total 41 reference stations.
