Liscad PLUS

LISCAD Plus is a Windows™ based surveying & engineering software solution. As a major component of Leica Geosystems' Field to Finish solution, it processes surveying data from all Leica Geosystems surveying sensors including TPS, GPS-and Digital Levels.

For convenience, LISCAD Plus is available in modular form so you only need to purchase the software necessary to fulfill your daily tasks.

LISCAD Lite is an abbreviated version for data reduction, plus import / export from / to other systems, including DXF and DGN. It uses the same database as the full version and consequently can be used as a viewer for databases produced by the full version, but it cannot be extended with the various extra LISCAD modules. It can be extended with plug-ins like the MOVE3 and NEN1878 interface.

Computations features full support for layers, field codes and attributes. Full COGO functionality, editing of all object types, including points, symbols, lines, splines, arcs and spirals, plus support for text are all included.

Input/output for transferring data to and from other systems, plus support for most total stations and GPS systems on the market today. Import and export a variety of exchange files including DXF, DGN and ARC/INFO.

Adjustment calculates a rigorous least-squares adjustment for your field data.

Transformations will transform a coordinate set between projections, plus perform an affine, semi-affine or full 3D conformal transformation.

3D Modeling validates and computes digital terrain models (DTM), supports break lines and boundaries and generates contour maps, complete with dynamic user defined intervals and labels. LISCAD DTM also supports multiple models in a database plus the ability to add and subtract models for volume calculations

Volumes calculates quantities to a base datum, or between DTM surfaces, either as direct volumes or in layers to support specific cost structures. Volumes can also be calculated based on cross sections relative to a base datum or as difference between two sets.

Profiles and Design is a powerful and flexible tool for creating long and cross sections. The design functionality allows very flexible and automated creation of cross sections for engineering, road design, etc. Designs can be meshed with natural surfaces and integrated in existing data. Results can be transferred to external CAD systems.

Background Images offers the capability to insert bitmaps (orthophotographs, scanned map images, etc) underneath the map and georeference them. From the bitmaps terrain features can subsequently be digitized and transferred to the map.

Resource Editor is the ultimate in personalization software. Edit existing symbols, line styles and fonts or create your own libraries.
