Service & Support GPS
We are convinced that with an eventual purchase of a Leica GPS system, you will have acquired an outstanding instrument of great value. In order to obtain the ultimate performance results from your instrument(s), good, professional training for the user(s) is highly recommended.
To meet your needs we offer, among others, the following support and services:
Technical support:
- Installation of new software in your GPS systems
The functionality of your instrument is in large measure determined by the software installed. Generally speaking a new software release becomes available at least once a year. The installation of such new software ensures that your instrument is kept up-to-date.
- The LNR Globalcom Support Centre is at your service every normal working day from 8:30 till 17:00 hours.

Technical Service:
Your instrument should be turned into the Technical Service Centre of Leica Geosystems b.v. at regular intervals. In this manner your GPS equipment will retain its optimum functionality.
You can choose either an all-in service contract, or an annual check-up of the instrument.
Options
If you are interested in any or all of the abovementioned services, we offer service contracts, training and rentals for the latest GPS equipment. The advantages which (a) service contract(s) can offer you include a relatively low cost for the most recent software and instruction, and the knowledge that your instrument meets the highest quality standards.
Hardware
The following service contract options are available:
- Firmware contract
Upgrade with new firmware, in your own language, in the receiver
- Firmware and Check-up contract
Upgrade new firmware in the receiver, plus a yearly check-up of the instrument including batteries, cables and connections
- All-in contract

Daily telephone support and support at our office, delivery of spare parts in case of damage or repair, up-to-date information concerning new developments via internet, and last but not least, membership in the Leica GPS users' club. Once a year a special day is organized for users by LNR Globalcom to discuss the latest news and developments.

In our training centre in Rijswijk or on location by the user
Rental
Our GPS equipment rental service enables the client to:
- obtain experience with the equipment,
- create additional temporary capacity, or
- temporarily replace an instrument in case of damage or repair
